National CAPACD convention highlights: During CAPACD's convention this week, the Department of the Interior announced it is proposing a new rule for Native Hawaiians to be able to decide if they want a government-to-government relationship with the U.S. CAPACD also coordinated with local organizations in a rally to save affordable housing units in D.C.'s Chinatown,Museum Square.

NAPAWF’s #MoretoTheStory launches: Young AAPI feminists who participated in NAPAWF’s Reproductive Justice Leadership, Amplification, Mobilization and Power Building Program this summer created digital stories that debuted this week. The stories focus on what it means to grow up as an Asian American young woman with questions about sexual health. Videos from the launch are available onNAPAWF’s YouTube channel. Thenext webinar will be on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

AAJC honors former Attorney General Eric Holder: In their annual American Courage Awards Thursday evening, Advancing Justice | AAJC honored Eric Holder for his work with voting rights, LGBT equality and fighting hate crimes. AAJC also presented the Distinguished Service Award to Dr. Prabhjot Singh and Bridge Builder Award to Google. See the highlights on Twitter with#ACA15.
