UPDATES
In the aftermath of the white supremacist gathering in Charlotteville, many across the country condemned the terror and violence and mourned Heather Heyer’s death. Alarmingly, it took President Trump two days to condemn the white supremacists behind the attacks, saying that “racism is evil.” Acts of hate have no place in our country. These events show us we must continue working together for a more equitable and inclusive nation, and vigils planned across the country give us hope that positive changes can happen. For ideas on how to take action in your community and on a national level, scroll to the “Take Action” section, find an event near you and visit the Indivisible guide.
