Langar on the Hill is an annual celebration of the Sikh institution of Langar, it highlights the diversity of the Sikh Community in the American melting pot and of the important relationship between the the Sikh community and United States Congress. It is organized and managed by interns participating in SALDEF’s SikhLEAD program, which places young Sikh Americans from across the country in internships in Washington, DC and gives them leadership training and a voice in the American politics.
