The annual APAICS Awards Gala Dinner is the premier event in Washington, D.C. to celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. The evening honors Asian American and Pacific Islander leaders, both current and pioneers, and recognizes outstanding individuals and organizations that continue to politically empower the AAPI community.

Past keynotes and honorees have included luminaries President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, VADM Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, former Secretary Gary Locke, President Bill Clinton, late Senator Daniel K. Inouye, Senator Daniel K. Akaka, Admiral Harry B. Harris Jr., Congressman Mike Honda, CAPAC Chair Congresswoman Judy Chu, and George Takei.
